Brazil – Belo Horizonte – MG Belo Horizonte is the city near to the main campus of Fundação Dom Cabral and one of the largest cities in the country, exerting great national influence, whether from a cultural, economic or political point of view. Our city boasts an active entrepreneurial community that is well recognized in Brazil. In recent years, the number of entrepreneurs and startups seeking innovative solutions to social and environmental great challenges has been growing here. Recognized by UNESCO as a Creative City due to its gastronomy, Beagá - as it is called by its residents - is also the Brazilian city with the most bars in Brazil, in addition to being the stage for one of the most recognized street carnivals in the country. In addition to the activities already included in the course, the student will have the opportunity to take advantage of their visit to Belo Horizonte to explore the attractions that appeal most to tourists in the region.

LEARN Our course combines expository classes with top-notch professionals, case studies of reference projects, and debates among professors and students, promoting access to current knowledge and the development of analytical thinking. During these visits, students will have the opportunity to explore case studies of business-driven impact solutions, visit a project focused on impact in the city of Belo Horizonte, engage in conversations with professionals already active in the field, and get acquainted with organizations that are reference points in the sector. This will allow them to exercise their skills in empathy and active listening, as well as establish a network of contacts with social entrepreneurs and within the social impact ecosystem in Brazil. DO Throughout the course, students will put into practice all the newly acquired knowledge and work on their entrepreneurial skills by conceptualizing a business action or a new venture to address a real socio-environmental challenge. In this opportunity, they will also have the chance to exercise their skills in creative thinking, collaboration, and public speaking. Additionally, by participating in the course, students will have the opportunity to build their global professional network by interacting with students from Brazil and other parts of the world. PROVE At the end of the course, students will receive a certificate from FDC, which is an internationally acclaimed institution. There will also be a prize for the best performers in the practical challenge of the course. Both will be presented during an award ceremony followed by a networking cocktail at the end of the course.
